Though the world seems like a frightening place, we can know, just as the Lord adorns the flowers and initiates the regrowth of Spring, He is sustaining and providing for us. In the most difficult moments of worry or anxiety, God faithfully reminds us to “consider the lilies of the field”.
We need to know, in full confidence, what God’s Word says.
God is the Author of the human spirit. God’s forgiveness has a weighty gravity to it because He knows the “number of hairs on our heads;” He “formed us in the womb.” There’s no escaping our humanity, our frailty, and our sin.
